Bed, Bath, & Bones is owned and operated by Theresa (Teri) Marlowe and her husband Shaun.  We are nestled upon five rolling acres in Huntingtown, MD.  When Teri moved to Calvert county in 1992, she had already decided to pursue a job in the pet services industry.  She has had tons of experience with all sorts of animals including;  managing a retail petstore for 5 years, and working as a veterinary tech.  Amongst her career in the pet services industry, Teri has over 10 years combined community service for the Humane Society of Calvert County and the Calvert Animal Welfare League.  Her grooming career began with horses, as a child, and Teri started developing her professional dog grooming skills in 2003.  She and Shaun have always harbored a love of horses and currently own a Thoroughbred mare named "Fox" , a Quarter horse colt named " Colten", and another Thoroughbred filly named "Fly".  Their menagerie of pets also includes: two cats, five dogs, two snakes, six goats, one sheep, and some miscelaneous feathered farm yard friends.  As if that weren't enough, Shaun also works a second full time job as a management trainee for Enterprise.  In their spare time they like to do family activities with their seven year old son Draven. 

"This business has been a wonderful opportunity for me to be able to work with the animals I so deeply care for.  How many people can really say they love their job and mean it?  Shaun and I split the daily chores, I operate the grooming and pet sitting, and Shaun gets to do all the renovations and handyman activities that go along with owning a farm, on top of his full time job.  It keeps us busy!  But it's worth all the hard work we have put into it."  -Teri-
